"The Cornalin vines in this plot have been cultivated biodynamically since 2007. Among them is a plot that is already over 40 years old, making it one of the oldest Cornalin vines still in existence in Salgesch.
The nose is exciting and intense, with floral notes of peony, mint, and cherry. On the palate, it’s explosive with very dense fruit—red berries, including cherry and red currant—along with mint and a spicy hint of anise. The power of the old vines really comes through here. Tannins are hardly noticeable at first, completely masked by the juicy fruit, but then emerge in the long finish, where they are finely chiseled and very pleasant."
