On the nose, it offers toasty woody notes of coffee and roasted chestnuts, along with a hint of resin, followed by elderberry and blackberry. On the palate, it offers spicy-fruity aromas, plenty of juicy fruit, and robust, compact tannins; it is both fresh and warm, with a smooth texture and dark fruit."
