"Diversitas wines are complex, deep wines with great aging potential. The Profondo is made from a blend of partially dried grapes and aged in barriques.
Exceptional and intense aromas of milk chocolate, fig, gingerbread, cinnamon, plum, and cherry cake. On the palate, it is very robust, expansive, and full-bodied, with a rich, melting fruitiness. Its warming aromas are reminiscent of a top-tier Amarone. The wine remains focused and balanced thanks to plenty of ripe tannins and wonderfully integrated acidity. The finish is long and very aromatic—a wonderfully unique Valais wine."
