Walser Trunk / VdP Suisse

This wine pays homage to the history of the Walser people: Pinot Noir grapes from the Bündner Herrschaft, sourced from Jürg Marugg in Fläsch and Salgesch, are blended with a touch of Cornalin.

Open and appealing on the nose, with distinct fruit notes of blueberry and plum, complemented by subtle hints of cinnamon and floral rose notes. On the palate, it’s beautifully smooth and ripe, with black cherry. A supple wine with low tannins, characterized by warmth and fruit, and very pleasant to drink.

Humagne Rouge / AOC Valais

Intense on the nose with notes of strawberry jam and lilac. Straightforward and harmonious on the palate, with the same fruity, floral aromas found on the nose. The tannins are finely polished, gentle, and well-integrated, but the ripe fruit provides body and extract. The long finish offers additional spice and an attractive, slight hint of bitterness, which lends the wine a sense of tension.

Cornalin / AOC Valais

The aroma is initially subtle but intriguing, with spicy and dark berry notes. Hints of green pepper, allspice, and blackberry. On the palate, it comes alive, with beautifully integrated acidity, tightly woven, velvety tannins, lovely spice, and rich fruit.

Cornalin Trong / AOC Valais

The grapes for this wine come from Domaine Trong. Among them is a plot that is already over 40 years old, making it one of the oldest Cornalin vines still growing in Salgesch.

The exciting nose is intense, with floral notes of peony, mint, and cherry. On the palate, it’s explosive with very dense fruit—red berries, including cherry and red currant—along with mint and a spicy hint of anise. The power of the old vines really comes through here. Tannins are hardly noticeable at first, completely masked by the juicy fruit, but then emerge in the long finish—finely chiseled and very pleasant.

Pinotage / VdP Suisse

We planted the first Pinotage vines in Valais in 2012. This wine is the first Swiss organic wine made from this grape variety, which originated in South Africa. It is fermented spontaneously with wild yeasts in open wooden vats and then aged in our cellar to become a unique wine.

On the nose, it’s classic Pinotage, with hints of smoke and black elderberry—those characteristic spicy-fruity aromas. There are also notes of cloves, cranberries, and cherry. Juicy on the palate, with rounded tannins. It features ripe fruit, with only a hint of spice, but all the more cassis and blackberry. In terms of body and style, the wine fits seamlessly alongside Cornalin and Humagne Rouge—Welcome to Valais, dear Pinotage.

It takes a few minutes on the nose to open up. Then the wine reveals distinct notes of black pepper, plum, cassis, and a hint of sour cherry. On the palate, too, it’s a cool-climate Syrah with firm tannins—dense and well-structured. A fresh, spicy, and elegant Syrah with power and juiciness and plenty of potential.

Harmonie du Rhodan "Assemblage rouge" / AOC Valais

A quartet of grapes creates a melodious harmony: *Harmonie du Rhodan* from Salgesch is chamber music at its finest. Each variety contributes its own unique qualities to the wine’s success.

Diverse and open aromas of strawberry, rose, and subtle oak. The berry notes take center stage, while the oaky spice takes a back seat. On the palate, the wine is juicy and harmonious; it builds in body, becoming dense and full-bodied, with the grape varieties blending together superbly. The finish is balanced with spice, fruit, structure, and a smooth, velvety texture.

Fortissimo du Rhodan "Assemblage rouge" / AOC Valais

A wine crafted for Olivier Mounir to celebrate his 50th birthday. The name says it all: Fortissimo is a powerful, well-structured wine full of dazzling nuances and built to age well. The Fortissimo is made from Cornalin and Diolinoir.

The nose reveals toasty notes, vanilla, and dark fruit. On the palate, the wine initially impresses with very dense, ripe berry fruit and integrated oak notes. But its true strength lies in the outstanding quality of its tannins and its polished yet structured framework, which creates volume and allows the fruit to shine. Aromatic with a long finish.

Duett Rot / VdP Suisse

The Duett is a wonderful marriage of Pinot Noir from the canton of Thurgau by Michi Burkhardt and our Valais grapes, which are aged in wood.

On the nose, it offers toasty woody notes of coffee and roasted chestnuts, along with a hint of resin, followed by elderberry and blackberry. On the palate, it offers spicy-fruity aromas, plenty of juicy fruit, and robust, compact tannins; it is both fresh and warm, with a smooth texture and dark fruit.

MerSy "Fût de Chêne" / AOC Valais

Merlot and Syrah. These two globetrotters have made the Valais their home. Our barrel-aged MerSy cuvée blends their distinct characters into a compelling whole—flavorful and full of character.

On the nose, subtle woody notes, spicy with a hint of toast, followed by distinct fruit notes of red cherry, blueberry, as well as black pepper and green olive. On the palate, firm, tightly woven tannins, a salty note, followed by dark chocolate. A compact, long-lasting wine that builds a smooth finish—long and aromatic.

Diolinoir "Fût de Chêne" / AOC Valais

Diolinoir is a cross between Rouge de
Diolly and Pinot Noir. Among Diolinoir’s strengths are its intense color
and abundant tannins. Aging in small oak barrels
results in a full-bodied yet refined red wine.

Open and fruit-forward aromas of blue fruits such as blackberries and
blueberries, along with floral violet notes and subtle vanilla spice from the
barrique. After some aeration, hints of coffee and black elderberry also emerge. On the palate,
it is robustly structured, with concentrated, ripe, juicy fruit that
immediately takes center stage. The ripe, soft tannins are superbly integrated thanks to aging in
barrique. The finish is balanced with freshness, fruit
and spice, and lingers for a long time.

Mustique / VdP Switzerland

The grapes for this classic Bordeaux blend are grown according to biodynamic principles. Merlot makes up the majority of the blend, followed by Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.

On the nose, it offers toasty oak notes, as well as cloves and cassis. On the palate, it offers plenty of spice, resin, and green pepper, followed by dark berry fruit. A densely structured and concentrated wine with plenty of polished tannins. Aromas of tobacco, plum, and pomegranate in the long finish. A wine with class that still needs time to fully develop.

Sporty / VdP Suisse / Set of 6

In producing this Valais wine, we draw inspiration from the tradition of port wine. This fortified red, made from Pinot Noir and Syrah grapes, is aged in used barriques.

The nose is very aromatic and open, with notes of dried black fruits, caramel, cinnamon, and fig. On the palate, it is expansive in aroma and body—syrupy, opulent, powerful, long, dense, and very aromatic.

Diversitas Riesling / AOC Valais

Diversitas wines are complex, deep wines with great aging potential. The Riesling grapes for Diversitas are gently pressed over twelve hours to extract only the very best quality juice and extract.

The intense nose is incredibly diverse, with notes of ginger, peach, red currant, chamomile, and green walnut. On the palate, as with any top-class Riesling, the structure—that is, the extract—takes center stage. The palate is coated with silky white wine extract and immediately cleansed by phenomenal acidity. A sensory spectacle reserved for only a select few top grape varieties and wines. The complex aromas reemerge in the long finish. A wine with a long aging potential.

Diversitas Petite Arvine / AOC Valais

Diversitas wines are complex, deep wines with great aging potential. The Petite Arvine comes from a single vineyard in Salgesch and is aged in barrique barrels containing a proportion of acacia wood.
The nose is somewhat reserved at first, taking time to open up, then revealing hints of mandarin and honey. On the palate, however, the wine truly explodes, with aromas of pink grapefruit, mandarin, mint, and wet stone. The famous salty note of Petite Arvine comes through fully right from the first sip, along with the spice from the barrique. The wine has an incredible amount of creaminess and is extremely long on the finish.

Diversitas Hommage Pinot Noir / AOC Valais

Diversitas wines are complex, deep wines with great aging potential. The grapes for the Pinot Noir come from the best plots, and the wine is aged in barriques for at least 24 months. Only the very best few barriques are selected for Diversitas.

The nose, still young but already complex, features currants, raspberries, blackberries, juniper, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is salty, dense, and powerful. The tannins are silky and tightly woven, firm yet supple. It impresses with plenty of juiciness and great length—a wine with wonderfully ripe fruit, floral notes, complexity, and the extra dimension of a grand cru.

Diversitas Profondo Barrique Blend / VdP Suisse

Diversitas wines are complex, deep wines with great aging potential. The Profondo is made from a blend of partially dried grapes and aged in barriques.

Exceptional and intense aromas of milk chocolate, fig, gingerbread, cinnamon, plum, and cherry cake. On the palate, it is very robust, expansive, and full-bodied, with a rich, melting fruitiness. Its warming aromas are reminiscent of a top-tier Amarone. The wine remains focused and balanced thanks to plenty of ripe tannins and wonderfully integrated acidity. The finish is long and very aromatic—a wonderfully unique Valais wine.
